Dr. G graduated from India in 2001. She was a mixed animal practitioner before she moved to United States. She worked on Cows, Goats, Sheep, Chicken, Water Buffalo, Rabbits, Dogs and Cats. She enjoys working with farm animals as much as she loves working with small animals. She did her research and thesis in Food science especially on Goats. She worked in Virginia for 6 years before she moved to Jacksonville 5 years ago to work with our team. She lives with her family of 2 kids, 2 dogs, a cat and a husband. In free time she loves to do Kayaking and trekking.

Wendy Warner
Receptionist
Wendy Warner is originally from Pennsylvania and moved to Florida over 20 years ago with her husband Joe. She loves all animals, but her favorite breed of dog is an Alaska Malamute—a breed she’s had throughout her life. Wendy has formal training as an artist, hand-painting the logo in our reception area and a beach-scene mural in the recovery room. When she’s not working, you can find her soaking up the Florida sun at the beach.
Gladys Hutsell
Lead Vet Tech
Gladys Hutsell is a veterinary technician with over 25 years of experience. She’s affectionately known as the “dog/cat whisperer” and is skilled at handling everything from 200 lb English Mastiffs to 2 lb baby kittens. In her spare time, Gladys enjoys gardening and feeding the family of ducks on her property.
Joy Benedek
Lead Vet Tech
Joy is our lead vet tech at Northside Animal Hospital. She has worked with animals for 16 years—3½ of those with us. Originally from Ohio and having lived along the East Coast, Joy now calls Florida home. She has two sons and continues her passion for veterinary medicine. Animals of all types are her favorites.
Kaitlyn Martin
Kaitlyn is originally from Franklin, North Carolina, and moved to Florida at age 5. Her passion for animals began early alongside her father’s love of dogs, cats, snakes, and exotic pets. She brings a bright, fun-loving energy to everything and genuinely loves every patient. In her downtime, she goes to the beach and enjoys outdoor activities.
Alexis Blake
A Jacksonville native, Alexis has shelter experience and dreams of opening a sanctuary for lost and abandoned animals. She and her family—a spouse, 3‑year‑old daughter, and the family dog—adore sunny days and cozy home time.
Isabelle Myers
Another Jacksonville native, Isabelle is pursuing her vet tech license in college. She’s dedicated to the comfort and care of every pet, offering them love, cuddles, and reassurance during exams.
Kelly Kellum
Originally from Tampa and now in Jacksonville, Kelly’s passion lies with cats—she currently has two and always wishes for more. When not with kittens, you can find her poolside or at the beach.
Megan Barber
Megan has been working with pets since 2018. A strong advocate for animals, she considers her three dogs and family her pride and joy. She and her spouse love park walks and trips to the downtown duck pond.
Trinity Bascom
Born and raised in Jacksonville, Trinity is studying Ecology & Evolution at UNF and hopes to attend vet school. She volunteers with animal welfare groups and enjoys reading, gaming, Netflix, and cuddles with her fur babies.
Bonnie Brewton
A country girl from Rincon, Georgia, Bonnie grew up on a cattle ranch in Oklahoma and dreams of returning to ranch life. She has spent her life caring for animals big and small and is a dedicated advocate for fur babies in need.
Kaela Myers
Kaela has been with Northside Animal Hospital for nearly a year. A Jacksonville native of 38 years, she is supported by her husband and four children and makes every pet’s bath feel like a spa day—complete with her comedy and concert routines!
